Kianna Underwood, a former child star who delighted audiences on the Nickelodeon sketch show All That<\/em> throughout the 00s has tragically died at the age of 33.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The actress was sadly killed after being struck in a hit-and-run incident in the Brownville section of Brooklyn shortly before 7am on Friday January 16.<\/p>\n

The New York<\/a> Police Department confirmed<\/a> the news of the incident to Page Six, with officers responding to a 911 call at around 6:49am<\/p>\n

According to a statement from the Deputy Commissioner of Public Information, a preliminary investigation found that a gray sedan was heading westbound when it hit an unidentified female.<\/p>\n

Underwood is believed to have been dragged for multiple blocks, as she had been lodged beneath the vehicle after being hit.<\/p>\n

“A preliminary investigation determined a gray vehicle was traveling westbound and struck an unidentified female,” their statement read, confirming that she had ‘sustained severe trauma to the head and body.’<\/p>\n

Emergency services rushed to the scene, but the victim was sadly pronounced dead upon arrival.<\/p>\n

The Deputy Commissioner also confirmed that the driver of the vehicle had failed to stop, adding that they \u2018did not remain on scene.\u2019<\/p>\n

So far, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident and an investigation remains ongoing.<\/p>\n

Underwood, a proud New Yorker born and bred, first began her acting career at age the age of 7, but it was her success in All That<\/em>, that propelled her to stardom.<\/p>\n

The iconic comedy sketch show was a staple of many kid\u2019s childhoods, with stars such as Amanda Bynes,<\/a> Kenan Thompson, Kel Mitchell, Nick Cannon<\/a> and Jamie Lynn Spears finding great success on the show.<\/p>\n

Underwood joined the cast in 2005, for the 10th<\/sup> series of the sketch show and the final series of the show\u2019s original run, before it went on hiatus until 2019.<\/p>\n

The animated children\u2019s show was created by Bill Cosby and followed the adventures of 5-year-old Bill Glover, played by Xavier Pritchett, as he navigated everyday life in Philadelphia.<\/p>\n

In addition to her TV success,<\/a> Underwood also crafted a name for herself on Broadway, when she starred for over a year in the first national tour of Hairspray <\/em>playing Little Inez.<\/p>\n
