Ryan Coogler speaks about late Chadwick Boseman\u00a0<\/p><\/div>\n

American filmmaker Ryan Coogler has made a rare confession about the late Chadwick Boseman.<\/p>\n

The late actor passed away after a secret battle with colon cancer in August 2020 at the age of 43 leaving the fans shocked.<\/p>\n

While making an appearance on Amy Poehler\u2019s The Good Hang<\/i> podcast, Ryan remembered the actor and his lesser known quirks.<\/p>\n

\u201cHave you seen Chad on SNL? He is hilarious. He played James Brown\u2026 He could do anything,\u201d Ryan recalled.<\/p>\n

The director continued to recall how his friend was in between takes on set and continued to entertain people present.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s just who he was. Very disciplined, but absolutely ridiculous in between takes.\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Ryan and Chadwick were not just workmates but also close friends up till his tragic death.<\/p>\n

He directed Black Panther,<\/i> the movie which eventually became Chadwick\u2019s most memorable work.<\/p>\n

The director said Chadwick remained a \u201cdeeply funny\u201d man with a \u201cgreat sense of humour\u201d throughout his career.<\/p>\n

The comment comes at a time when Chadwick was honoured with a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in November 2025.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
