Leprous<\/strong> frontman Einar Solberg<\/strong>\u00a0has announced his second solo album,\u00a0Vox Occulta<\/em>, due for release on April 24, 2026. A bold, heavy, and symphonic statement, the LP was recorded in collaboration with the much-sought-after\u00a0Norwegian Radio Orchestra.<\/p>\n To celebrate the announcement,\u00a0Einar<\/strong>\u00a0has launched the second track from the album, titled\u00a0\u201cMedulla\u201d, and you can watch the video \u2014 directed by\u00a0Leo Liberti<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 below.<\/p>\n Einar<\/strong>\u00a0comments: \u201c\u2018<\/strong>Medulla\u2018<\/strong>\u00a0started with a riff. I had just picked up an eight-string plugin, and it immediately led me to that main idea. As soon as it came together, I knew it had weight. It felt physical \u2014 like something you feel in your bones rather than just hear. That\u2019s where the idea of marrow came in.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe song is about the part of me that stayed strong through everything I\u2019ve been through. No matter what happened around it, the core held. \u201cThere\u2019s no full orchestra on this track, but it still has a cinematic edge.\u00a0Chris Baum<\/strong>\u00a0added real strings, and\u00a0Keli<\/strong>,\u00a0Pierre Danel,<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Jed Lingat<\/strong>\u00a0bring the song to life on drums, guitar, and bass,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
