But it seems like, behind the scenes, Jimmy Fallon quietly helped make the Studio 8H moment happen for the Stranger Things<\/i> star. <\/p>\n

During his candid chat with Entertainment Weekly,<\/i> the host of The Tonight Show<\/i> admitted that he presented the idea of the 23-year-old Canadian actor as a host to Lorne Michaels, calling his years on the sketch comedy show as a “good way in.”<\/p>\n

Jimmy, who has previously starred on SNL <\/i>from 1998 to 2004, shared, “Finn was my last recommendation.” <\/p>\n

“They have great taste in casting over there, and Lorne does too.”<\/p>\n

The It <\/i>star\u2019s hosting debut kicked off the second half of the star-studded Season 51, which opened in October with Bad Bunny hosting after he was announced as the 2026 Super Bowl halftime headliner. <\/p>\n
