A$AP Rocky has revealed he\u2019s impressed by Denzel Washington\u2019s music talent in his recent interview.<\/p>\n

The rapper shared his experience working with Hollywood icon in Spike Lee’s crime thriller Highest 2 Lowest <\/i>last year.<\/p>\n

Interestingly, Rocky recalled a movie scene in which he performed rap with Washington.<\/p>\n

When asked if The Equalizer<\/i> actor was nervous about the scene, the rapper replied, \u201cNo, not at all.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe actually wrote my part and his part. Denzel is quite the MC. I call him the Word Philosopher,\u201d explained the 37-year-old.<\/p>\n

Rocky opened up that he received advice from Washington while filming the movie.<\/p>\n

\u201cSpike gave me advice throughout the film. Jeffrey Wright, my co-star, gave me advice. And Denzel gave me advice,\u201d he told the outlet.<\/p>\n

Rocky further said, \u201cIt was a crazy dynamic trio, this trifecta of old genius. They blessed me with a lot of jewels.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the interview, the rapper confessed he was overwhelmed by many A-list stars, including his co-star in Lee directed movie.<\/p>\n

\u201cI got starstruck working with Denzel,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

Rocky pointed out, \u201cAnd even though I know these guys, I get starstruck anytime I encounter Andr\u00e9 3000 or Jay-Z.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI admire and respect them so much that I still fan out,\u201d added the rapper.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
