Princess Eugenie has \u201ccut off all contact\u201d with her father, ex-Prince Andrew, following all the recent revelations about his connections with Jeffrey Epstein, the <\/span>Mail on Sunday<\/a><\/em> reports.<\/span><\/p>\n

The paper says Andrew is \u201cdevastated\u201d by the rupture with his younger daughter, and that Eugenie, 35, is \u201crefusing to speak\u201d to him and did not visit him at Christmas.<\/p>\n

The <\/span>Mail on Sunday<\/em> notes Eugenie\u2019s work co-founding The Anti-Slavery Collective, and says she has taken a hard line on Andrew\u2019s continued refusal to apologise to Epstein\u2019s victims. One source tells the <\/span>Mail on Sunday<\/em> the rift has escalated to total silence: \u201cThere is no contact at all, nothing. It\u2019s Brooklyn Beckham level \u2013 she has completely cut him off.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

By contrast, the paper reports that Princess Beatrice is attempting what it calls a more delicate balancing act, staying in touch with her father while protecting her standing within the wider family.<\/p>\n

The paper says Beatrice invited Andrew to the christening of her 11-month-old daughter, Athena, last month, but that he did not attend a pub gathering afterwards. As one source puts it to the <\/span>Mail on Sunday<\/em>: \u201cBeatrice is trying to walk the fine line of not cutting her father off and yet remaining close with the Royal Family\u2026 They aren\u2019t exactly in regular and close contact at the moment, but Eugenie isn\u2019t trying to walk that line. She\u2019s not speaking to him.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The estrangement comes as Andrew is under pressure to move out of Royal Lodge, with removals vans seen at the property last week.<\/p>\n

Now the government is coming under pressure to cancel King Charles\u2019 state visit to the US later this year after Trump declared a trade war on countries that oppose his extraordinary plan to take over Greenland, a move which allies have warned risks shattering the NATO alliance.<\/p>\n

Incredibly Trump singled out the UK for a 10% tariff rising to 25% after the UK sent a single naval officer to join a NATO exercise in Greenland.<\/p>\n

Sir Keir Starmer, the U.K. prime minister, seemed to have finally had enough of endlessly trying to placate Trump, saying: \u201cOur position on Greenland is very clear \u2013 it is part of the Kingdom of Denmark and its future is a matter for the Greenlanders and the Danes. \u2018We have also made clear that Arctic security matters for the whole of Nato, and allies should all do more together to address the threat from Russia across different parts of the Arctic. Applying tariffs on allies for pursuing the collective security of Nato allies is completely wrong. We will, of course, be pursuing this directly with the US administration.\u201d<\/p>\n

Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy, speaking for the government Sunday, prevaricated when pressed on the state visit, referring to the \u201cdepth\u201d of the Transatlantic relationship.<\/p>\n

The urge not to escalate is understandable but it would certainly be bizarre if the King went ahead with the visit while Trump was threatening a Greenland takeover.<\/p>\n

Nigel Farage, a Trump sycophant and currently the favorite to be the next leader of the U.K. said: \u201cWe don\u2019t always agree with the US government and in this case we certainly don\u2019t. These tariffs will hurt us.\u201d<\/p>\n

John Bolton, Trump\u2019s former national security adviser, called the threats against Greenland the \u201cmost dangerous and destructive assertion\u201d of his political career.<\/p>\n
