Desmond Scott<\/strong><\/a> is seemingly preparing to start a new chapter in his life after estranged wife Kristy Scott<\/strong><\/a> filed for divorce.<\/p>\n

In a video shared via Instagram<\/a> on Sunday, January 18, Desmond was seen placing various kitchen appliances and utensils inside the cabinets of a kitchen. After seemingly unpacking, Desmond went to the grocery store to pick up some produce.<\/p>\n

At the end of the clip, Desmond was seen back in the kitchen and looking off into the distance for a moment before walking away.<\/p>\n

\u201cBack in the kitchen this week\ud83d\ude0f,\u201d he captioned the post, adding in the comments section, \u201cAlso, I\u2019ve read every message and yall have no idea how much ya boy love yall \ud83e\udef6\ud83c\udffd\ud83d\ude42\u200d\u2195\ufe0f.\u201d<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> confirmed earlier this month that Kristy \u2014 who goes by Kristy Sarah online \u2014 filed for divorce<\/a> from Desmond in December 2025. Kristy and Desmond, who tied the knot in 2014, are parents to sons Vance and Westin.<\/p>\n

In her filing, Kristy cited alleged infidelity as the reason for their split, noting that there is no chance of reconciliation for the twosome. Kristy and Desmond would \u201csoon stop living together as husband and wife,\u201d the filing noted. Us Weekly<\/em> reached out for comment at the time.<\/p>\n

Desmond broke his silence on Kristy\u2019s divorce filing on January 10 in a lengthy statement to Instagram.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to begin by apologizing to Kristy, our family, and everyone who has been impacted by the public attention surrounding this situation,\u201d he wrote at the time. \u201cI know this news has been disappointing for many, and I\u2019m truly sorry for the hurt it has caused.\u201d<\/p>\n

Desmond continued, \u201cKristy is the mother of my children, and that will always come first. I remain fully committed to being an active, present, and loving parent to our boys, as I have always been.\u201d<\/p>\n

Desmond went on to note that he made \u201cchoices\u201d that he was \u201cnot proud of.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI took responsibility for those actions,\u201d he wrote. \u201cI shared this with her directly and personally, and ultimately we decided to divorce. I ask for privacy and compassion as we navigate this difficult chapter in our lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kristy, meanwhile, has yet to publicly address her divorce filing or Desmond\u2019s statement. She has, however, been active on social media. On Wednesday, January 14, Kristy alluded to her current living situation, writing via Instagram, \u201cSame address.\u201d<\/p>\n
