Lara Trump has been blasted online for ‘cringe’ dancing in a new music video, filmed at her father-in-law, President Donald Trump<\/a>‘s National Golf Club.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Trump, 43, was seen in re-surfaced footage from September, dancing alongside Egyptian actor and singer\u00a0Mohamed Ramadan<\/a> only months after the president’s daughter-in-law faced ridicule for her singing.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Ramadan posted clips of behind-the-scenes footage from the music video shoot in Miami, as the top-charting singer taught Trump his signature ‘Tiger Dance’ moves.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The collaboration began as part of the conservative music initiative Make Music Right, an effort by President Trump to promote ‘traditional values,’ Yahoo<\/a>\u00a0reported.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘Our Vision is to build a movement that educates Americans on music\u2019s role in shaping perspectives and to promote a music culture that upholds traditional values and elevates American society,’ the initiative’s website stated.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

As the pair were seen dancing and trading off verses, the footage received large amounts of backlash online.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘I didn\u2019t think there could be anything worse than Lara Trump singing\u2026 but I was wrong,’ a user on X wrote.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘I seriously don\u2019t understand why she isn\u2019t embarrassed,’ another quipped.\u00a0<\/p>\n

While Petty’s estate had told the administration that his music was not for use, Trump’s cover was dubbed by one user as ‘bad autotuned karaoke,’ Yahoo reported.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The cover was also ridiculed on Saturday Night Live by Weekend Update co-host Colin Jost who said: ‘She recently released a cover of ‘I Won’t Back Down.’ Upon hearing it, Tom Petty died again. I can’t believe I’m saying this to a member of the Trump family, but maybe stick to politics.’<\/p>\n

After incidents in the following years, Trump remained persistent in pursuing her music career and collaborated with rapper French Montana on ‘No Days Off.’<\/p>\n

But her efforts were shot down by Rolling Stone, who described it as ‘a masterclass in insipid vocal fry pop slop.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

Trump also announced the release of her album, Just Lara, with features from the rapper Montana, Ray J, Vanilla Ice, Gims, Raz B and other artists.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The album, which was released in August of last year, also received large amounts of criticism.\u00a0<\/p>\n
