Online<\/a><\/p>\n Sophie Turner<\/a><\/strong> is getting real about having kids in her 20s.<\/p>\n The Game of Thrones <\/em>alum\u2014who shares daughters Willa<\/strong>, 5, and Delphine<\/strong>, 3, with ex-husband Joe Jonas<\/a><\/strong>\u2014opened up about the benefits of having her kids early in life.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s really nice,\u201d Sophie, 29, told The Guardian<\/a> <\/em>in an interview published Jan. 16. \u201cI\u2019m not worrying about my biological clock and all that sort of stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n And having her little girls also allowed her to focus on family life.<\/p>\n \u201cIt just felt like the right break to focus on me, because I\u2019d been a character for so long,” she explained. \u201cNesting and being at home was amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n But her much-needed break from acting<\/a> also presented career challenges.<\/p>\n \u201cBut the flipside of it, and Covid didn\u2019t help, was that this was a big break from the career,\u201d she added, \u201cAnd I\u2019ve had to try to rebuild, in a way.\u201d<\/p>\n The X-Men: Dark Phoenix <\/em>actress continued, \u201cYou don\u2019t realize how important momentum is in a career, and I stalled it a bit.\u201d<\/p>\n More from E! Online<\/strong><\/p>\n After Joe, 36, and Sophie finalized their divorce in September 2024, the pair have been open about their harmonious co-parenting relationship<\/a>, despite previously undergoing a tense custody battle<\/a> in 2023.<\/p>\n \u201cI have a beautiful coparenting relationship that I’m really grateful for,\u201d Joe told Jay Shetty<\/strong> in a TikTok<\/strong><\/a> video taken during Jay\u2019s On Purpose Live Tour in May 2025. \u201cHaving an incredible mom, Sophie, for those girls is like a dream come true.\u201d<\/p>\n Photo by Max Cisotti\/Dave Benett\/WireImage<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n The Jonas Brothers<\/strong> bandmember also emphasized how Sophie couldn\u2019t be a better role model to their daughters.<\/p>\n \u201cAs young girls, looking up to great women is what I want for them,\u201d he explained. \u201cI think what values I want for them are to be open-minded and have a big heart, be able to walk into any room and feel confidence and know that they can do literally anything they want.\u201d<\/p>\n And although the former couple have gotten on the same page when it comes to raising their little ones, Sophie previously got candid about why she regrets how the pair\u2019s divorce went down.<\/p>\n “I’m unhappy with the way everything played out, especially when it comes to my children,” she told British Vogue<\/em><\/a> in May 2024. “They’re the victims in all of this. But I think we’re doing the best we can. I’m confident that we can figure it out.
