Marissa Springer<\/strong><\/a> is clearing up her relationship status with TikTok star Desmond Scott<\/strong> <\/a>amid his divorce from Kristy Scott.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m going to say this one time and one time only. I\u2019m not the one he cheated with,\u201d Springer, 24, said via Instagram<\/a> on Sunday, January 18, without referring to Desmond or Kristy by name. \u201cEveryone involved in this situation knows that it was not me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Days before, Desmond made headlines when he was spotted kissing a mystery woman<\/a> at a bar in Houston. Us Weekly<\/em> confirmed that Springer was the woman in the video. She told Us<\/em> that Desmond was out at the bar with his friends and \u201cin good spirits.\u201d (TMZ<\/em> was the first to report the news.)<\/p>\n

Springer claimed in Sunday\u2019s video that she had told TMZ<\/em> she didn\u2019t know who Desmond was \u201cprior\u201d and that the pair had \u201cmet that night.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m pretty sure when you guys meet someone at a club, you don\u2019t interrogate them about who or what their social media status is,\u201d Springer said. \u201cWe were obviously many drinks in. The vibes were there, as you can tell.\u201d<\/p>\n

She claimed, \u201cThey are divorced. The ink is definitely dry. Most of you guys don\u2019t actually know these people. I don\u2019t have kids, I don\u2019t cook, I don\u2019t really watch family content. I\u2019m not on that side of TikTok.\u201d<\/p>\n

Springer noted that she knew she would \u201cget hate\u201d whether she posted a video or not, but she wanted to \u201cclear [her] name.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAgain, I\u2019m not the woman he cheated with,\u201d Springer asserted. \u201cMoral of the story, nobody knows what goes on behind closed doors, and it should never reach the extent of having death threats to you or your family.\u201d<\/p>\n

News broke earlier this month that Kristy, who goes by Kristy Sarah online, filed for divorce<\/a> from Desmond, citing alleged infidelity as the reason for their split. In the filing obtained by Us<\/em>, Kristy noted that there is no chance of reconciliation and that the pair would \u201csoon stop living together as husband and wife.\u201d Us Weekly<\/em> reached out for comment at the time.<\/p>\n

Desmond, for his part, broke his silence on Kristy\u2019s divorce filing on January 10. In a statement to Instagram, Desmond began by \u201capologizing to Kristy, our family, and everyone who has been impacted by the public attention surrounding this situation.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI know this news has been disappointing for many, and I\u2019m truly sorry for the hurt it has caused,\u201d he wrote at the time. \u201cKristy is the mother of my children, and that will always come first. I remain fully committed to being an active, present, and loving parent to our boys, as I have always been.\u201d<\/p>\n
