Singer Yulee Choi<\/a> wasn\u2019t the only one making her acting debut in the comedy \u201cFood Truck: Stolen Love\u2026and Moo Deng.\u201d The viral pygmy hippo who charmed the world after she was born in 2024 also appears in a feature film for the first time in the Thai family movie.<\/p>\n

Choi<\/a>, a Korean singer-songwriter and founder of Srp Entertainment, told the audience at a recent Variety Screening Series event that she wanted to make the jump into acting because \u201cI love to learn.\u201d When the producers learned she could speak Thai (she majored in Thai at university), they encouraged her to join the film. It co-stars popular Thai actor Mario Maurer<\/a> along with comedian Jack Fanchan<\/a> and rapper-actor Padung Songsang<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Her song \u201cAfter the Rain<\/a>\u201d is also heard in the film, and she explained in the Q&a how the song, which was released last year, ties in with \u201cFood Truck.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
