Jordan\u00a0and\u00a0Wunmi Mosaku.\u00a0<em>One Battle After Another<\/em>\u00a0follows with 15 nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director (Paul Thomas Anderson) and acting nominations for\u00a0Leonardo DiCaprio,\u00a0Chase Infiniti,\u00a0Benicio del Toro,\u00a0Sean Penn\u00a0and\u00a0Teyana Taylor.<\/p>\n<p><em>Frankenstein<\/em>\u00a0picked up 14 nominations, and\u00a0<em>The Secret Agent<\/em>\u00a0landed 11 nominations, while the fifth most nominated film was\u00a0<em>Hamnet<\/em>\u00a0with nine. All three films earned Best Picture nods.<\/p>\n<p>The other Best Picture nominees for this year\u2019s LEJA Entertainment Film Awards are\u00a0<em>Bel\u00e9n<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Bob Trevi\u00f1o Likes It<\/em>,\u00a0<em>It Was Just an Accident<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Marty Supreme<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Sentimental Value<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s Breakout Award goes to\u00a0Tonatiuh\u00a0for his role in\u00a0<em>Kiss of the Spider Woman<\/em>. This year\u2019s Activism Award goes to\u00a0Diego Luna\u00a0for championing immigrant rights and for using his platform to amplify immigrant communities and encourage support for organizations helping them.<\/p>\n<p>LEJA is also honoring actor\u00a0Benicio del Toro\u00a0with this year\u2019s Rita Moreno Lifetime Achievement Award. Past winners include\u00a0Rita Moreno\u00a0(2019);\u00a0Jennifer Lopez\u00a0(2020);\u00a0Rosie Perez\u00a0(2021);\u00a0John Leguizamo\u00a0(2022);\u00a0Guillermo del Toro\u00a0(2023);\u00a0Eugenio Derbez\u00a0(2024); and\u00a0Edward James Olmos\u00a0(2025).<\/p>\n<p>The winners of the 8th annual LEJA Entertainment Film Awards will be announced on February 9.
