It\u2019s a dilemma that each contestant on I\u2019m a Celebrity \u2026 Get Me Out of Here!<\/i> has to face each season.<\/p>\n
Over the years there\u2019s been a pretty even split between those willing to get their gear off in the jungle shower and those who\u2019ve opted to keep their togs on.<\/p>\n
Now you might be thinking to yourself, why on earth would some of them choose to shower in swimmers?<\/p>\n
Many are put off by the fact there\u2019s a camera pointed directly at the shower, and even though Channel 10 doesn\u2019t show any nudity on the family friendly show, there\u2019s still a large production team behind the scenes who monitor the raw feeds 24\/7.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019d been told that there was this unwritten rule that when someone does nude up in the shower, the cameras all go down and they don\u2019t watch,\u201d ex-contestant Woody Whitelaw said on KIIS FM a few years ago.<\/p>\n
But the radio star, who did shower naked when he appeared on the show in 2023, said he had an inkling that quite a few of the production staff had seen him in the buff when he visited the control room after he was voted off the show.<\/p>\n
\u201c\u200aThere\u2019s 20 people sitting there and I made the joke, \u2018hey everyone, just so you know, the water in the shower was cold.\u2019 Anyway, they laughed way too loud,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd then one guy gets up and he goes, \u2018no, in all seriousness, you did me a huge favour because when we had to pixelate your rude parts, I only needed one pixel,\u2019\u201d he laughed.<\/p>\n
So which of this year\u2019s contestants are going to do as Woody did and let it all hang out? <\/p>\n
News.com.au caught up with most of the stars before they entered the jungle and asked them that very question.<\/p>\n
Rebekah Elmaloglou: <\/b>\u201cI\u2019ll probably go nude. I\u2019m a bit of a nudist. I\u2019m not shy, that\u2019s for sure. \u200aI mean, I won\u2019t be going nude swimming or anything like that, but I\u2019ll probably shower nude.\u201d<\/p>\n
Nath Valvo:<\/b> \u201c\u200aI\u2019m so sorry to break the hearts of everyone watching, but I don\u2019t think I\u2019m gonna nude it up. Having said that, I don\u2019t know, a week or two in, who knows if you can be bothered anymore? It feels like a lot of effort to wash with stuff on.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mia Fevola:<\/b> \u201cI\u2019m keeping the swimmers on, absolutely. I\u2019m not risking that.\u201d<\/p>\n
Matt Zukowski:<\/b> \u201cI haven\u2019t thought about it. Yeah, sure, I guess so. Is that something that people don\u2019t do? Look, I\u2019ll have to feel it out.\u201d<\/p>\n
Luke Bateman:<\/b> \u201cYes, I definitely will. I\u2019ve never showered with clothes on and I\u2019m not worried. My body is my body, it is what it is. If someone else sees it, that\u2019s just what it is.\u201d <\/p>\n Gary Sweet:<\/b> \u201c\u200aI don\u2019t know. Is it warm or cold in the jungle? That\u2019d be the first question, wouldn\u2019t it? No, probably not.\u201d<\/p>\n Dyson Heppell: <\/b>\u201cYeah, I think that\u2019s play on. I\u2019ve had 14 years in the footy communal showers, so it\u2019s all good.\u201d<\/p>\n Cyrell Paule:<\/b> \u201cOh god no. All the goodies are for Eden (her partner). Only special privileged people get to see that. I couldn\u2019t. I\u2019m not an OnlyFans girl.\u201d<\/p>\n Concetta Caristo:<\/b> \u201cI love to get naked. I love to go to nude beaches. I get naked in my bedroom and my mum\u2019s always like, \u2018people can see you, the windows are open!\u2019 and I don\u2019t care.
