King Charles\u2019s \u201cmost loved\u201d plants will be put on display in a garden he is co-designing for the new Sandringham Flower Show.<\/p>\n
The monarch, who is known for his love of gardening, will be collaborating with Catherine MacDonald, an award-winning garden designer, to create a bespoke outdoor space for the event in July. <\/p>\n
The area will be the centrepiece of the new Royal Horticultural Society Sandringham Flower Show, the first RHS show to be held at Sandringham.<\/p>\n
Ms Macdonald said: \u201cIt is an honour to be collaborating with His Majesty The King on the design for this garden that will be a centrepiece of the first RHS Sandringham Flower Show.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cWe are in the early stages, but I am finding the process inspiring and looking forward to including some of His Majesty\u2019s ideas and most-loved plants for visitors to enjoy.\u201d<\/p>\n
The decision to host a show at Sandringham is due to the King\u2019s desire to broadcast the estate\u2019s horticultural history to a wider audience.<\/p>\n
The show take places between July 22 and 28, with tickets starting at \u00a338. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
The garden is expected to feature a \u201cbold\u201d colour scheme, and is likely to feature delphiniums, a known favourite of Charles, as well as acers, magnolias and roses.<\/p>\n
The show will feature two new awards from King Charles and Queen Camilla, including the King\u2019s favourite exhibit for biodiversity and the Queen\u2019s favourite Upcycled Container. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The King and Queen usually attended the annual Sandringham Flower Show, held on the private grounds of his Norfolk Estate. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
The show attracts around 20,000 visitors each year, showcasing the horticultural skills of leading designers.<\/p>\n
Charles and Camilla have attended the event annually since 2005. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
