Today, NMB release the official music video for new single, \u201cHurt People.\u201d<\/p>\n
Says Neal Morse: \u201cToday we are revealing the second single from the album, titled \u2018Hurt People\u2019, and you can watch the video [below].<\/p>\n
At some point in my life, I heard the phrase \u201churt people hurt people\u201d, meaning that those who are doing damage to others are damaged themselves. Anyway, the phrase always stayed with me.<\/p>\n
When we were writing L.I.F.T., we were at the point in the story arc where the person has his or her break in belonging, and we were working on this heavy section. Mike and Eric were playing this heavy stuff and I started singing \u201churt people hurt people\u201d over what they were doing.<\/p>\n
It didn\u2019t fully come to life until Eric sang it, (what a vocal! \u2013 not to mention guitar solo!) which didn\u2019t happen till months later, but when it all came together, wow.\u201d<\/p>\n
