Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau just made their first public appearance of 2026\u2014but not on any red carpet. Instead, the singer and former Canadian prime minister were photographed holding hands at the World Economic Forum\u2019s annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland<\/a>, earlier today. Perry had on a tan cardigan and matching tan pencil skirt, while Trudeau wore a navy suit.<\/p>\n

The buzzy political event appearance comes about two weeks after Perry revealed that the couple traveled together<\/a> during the holidays. In a recap Instagram, she posted a photo of them kissing somewhere tropical.<\/p>\n

On December 31, a source told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> that Perry and Trudeau intended to spend New Year\u2019s together. \u201cThey are very smitten and into each other,\u201d the insider said, adding that Perry is \u201creally inspired\u201d by Trudeau. \u201c[She\u2019s] impressed by his accomplishments. He\u2019s a great match for her.\u201d<\/p>\n

The pair was first linked in July when they were photographed on a date<\/a> in Montreal. Months later in October, a source close to the singer told People<\/em><\/a> that Perry didn\u2019t expect their relationship to progress the way it had.<\/p>\n
