Green Day<\/a> shredded President Donald Trump<\/a>\u2019s deportation agenda over the weekend with a pair of tweaked lyrics during a Los Angeles concert.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n On Saturday, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers played a number of hits from their 2004 classic album \u201cAmerican Idiot,\u201d including the hit song \u201cHoliday\u201d which takes a dig at former President George W. Bush\u2019s administration and its war in Iraq.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cThis song is anti-fascism. This song is anti-war,\u201d declared<\/a> lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong at the Saturday show. \u201cWe stand up for our brothers and sisters in Minnesota<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Following his show of support for protesters against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement<\/a>, he exchanged the lyrics on the song\u2019s interlude to take aim at a key figure influencing Trump\u2019s immigration crackdown.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The song\u2019s original lyrics include the line, \u201cThe representative from California has the floor. Armstrong instead said, \u201cLadies and gentlemen, Stephen Miller<\/a> now has the floor,\u201d before launching into the bridge of \u201cHoliday,\u201d which includes the lyrics, \u201cSieg Heil to the President Gasman.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The anti-Trump rockers have previously altered<\/a> the lyrics of \u201cAmerican Idiot\u201d to diss the president, and they did the same while kicking off the show with a performance of the hit song.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cI\u2019m not a part of the MAGA agenda,\u201d sang Armstrong, whose original lyrics on the song are, \u201cI\u2019m not a part of a redneck agenda.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The band closed the show<\/a> with a message to America.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cHey everybody, please look out for your neighbors. Make sure you take care of each other. Make sure you love one another. Protect each other,\u201d Armstrong said. \u201cChinga la migra!\u201d (which loosely translates to, \u201cfuck the immigration cops.\u201d)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Green Day\u2019s latest swipes at the administration arrive just weeks before the band is set to perform at the Super Bowl LX opening ceremony next month.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The halftime show will be headlined<\/a> by Puerto Rican rapper and singer Bad Bunny<\/a>, a Trump critic who notably did not include a U.S. date on his latest tour due to ICE raids in the president\u2019s second term.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n News of the Spanish-speaking superstar\u2019s halftime show swiftly ruffled MAGA\u2019s feathers<\/a>, with Department of Homeland Security adviser Corey Lewandowski warning<\/a> in October that ICE agents would be at the Super Bowl on Feb. 8 at Levi\u2019s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
