Rachel McAdams has recently paid tribute to late Diane Keaton after she earns star on Hollywood Walk of Fame on January 20.<\/p>\n
The Canadian actress, who worked with Diane in the 2005 movie The Family Stone<\/i>, expressed her gratitude to the legendary star who she believed was the \u201cgreat gift to learn from\u201d.<\/p>\n
While gushing over late actress, Rachel mentioned, \u201cMy beloved Diane Keaton, who took me under her wing like I was her own daughter.\u201d<\/p>\n
Sharing a lesson, she learned from her, the Mean Girls<\/i> actress remarked, \u201cShe taught me that no matter how long you’ve been doing this, you have to leave everything you’ve got on the table.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cEach performance, you must muster up as much love as you possible can. And then you’ll only feel like a dumb-dumb idiot half the time in life,\u201d explained the 47-year-old during her moving speech at the ceremony.<\/p>\n
Interestingly, Rachel also publicly acknowledged her decade-long partner Jamie Linden, calling him her \u201cNorth Star\u201d.<\/p>\n
