As the It Ends With Us<\/a> legal battle continues, newly unsealed text messages from Jenny Slate<\/a> have revealed her true thoughts on Justin Baldoni<\/a> while filming the adaptation of Colleen Hoover<\/a>\u2019s bestselling book.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, a transcript of Slate<\/a>\u2019s deposition, held on Sept. 26, 2025, in New York, for Blake Lively<\/a>\u2019s ongoing case against Baldoni was unsealed, along with other evidence and documents. During the deposition, several of the actress\u2019 texts were read aloud, and she addressed on-set issues working with Baldoni and Wayfarer producer Jamey Heath<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Slate played Allysa, Baldoni\u2019s onscreen sister, in It Ends With Us<\/a>, which he also directed, in addition to playing Ryle Kincaid.<\/p>\n

At one point, Slate stated that filming the movie \u201chas been a really gross and disturbing shoot, and I\u2019m one of many who feel [this] way,\u201d and claimed that she and Lively \u201cboth complained directly\u201d to the studio.<\/p>\n
