Kenan Thompson<\/a> and Kel Mitchell<\/a> are reuniting to chase \u2014 and run away from \u2014 a monster.<\/p>\n

The long-time friends and former Nickelodeon<\/a> co-stars will topline and produce Kenan & Kel Meet Frankenstein, a horror comedy that\u2019s set to begin production in the summer. The movie is co-produced by Thompson<\/a>\u2019s Artists for Artists company and Range Media Partners<\/a>, with the latter\u2019s Brian Kavanaugh-Jones<\/a> and Pete Micelli handling sales.<\/p>\n

Jonah Feingold<\/a> (31 Candles, At Midnight) is writing the script, which pays homage to the old Abbott<\/a> and Costello Meet<\/a> \u2026 films. Thompson and Mitchell will produce alongside Artists for Artists co-founder John Ryan Jr.<\/a>, Kavanaugh-Jones and Carter Swan<\/a>. Will Hariton<\/a>, Azim Spicer<\/a> and Monica Weber<\/a> executive produce.<\/p>\n

Mitchell and Thompson \u2014 whose last project together was 2023\u2019s Good Burger 2<\/a> on Paramount<\/a>+ \u2014 announced the project at the end of Tuesday\u2019s Good Sports<\/a> on Prime Video, where Mitchell filled in for regular host Kevin Hart<\/a>.<\/p>\n
