Victoria and David Beckham have returned to Instagram for the first time since their son Brooklyn\u2019s bombshell statement in which he accused them of trying to sabotage his relationship.<\/p>\n

A day after their eldest son, 26, took aim at his parents with a raft of damaging accusations, the couple have returned to social media.<\/p>\n

It comes just hours after Brooklyn used his Instagram stories to accuse his parents of \u201ctrying endlessly to ruin his relationship\u201d with actress and model Nicola Peltz-Beckham before his 2022 wedding.<\/p>\n

Among the most scathing claims, Brooklyn says his mother hijacked the couple\u2019s plans for a \u201cromantic dance\u201d on their wedding day, instead dancing \u201cvery inappropriately on me in front of everyone\u201d.<\/p>\n

And while speculation about the former Spice Girl\u2019s alleged act has become the most popular meme on Instagram, she instead took a \u201cnothing to see here\u201d approach to the dramas.<\/p>\n

Instead, Victoria used her Instagram stories, followed by 33.5 million users, to wish her fellow Spice Girl Emma Bunton a happy birthday.<\/p>\n

And, sharing a clip of Emma in their famously raunchy \u201cSay You\u2019ll Be There\u201d video, she wrote: \u201cHappy birthday Baby. Kisses x x x.\u201d<\/p>\n

Just minutes later, David also side-stepped the controversy, to send his well wishes to former Manchester United team mates Nicky Butt and Philip Neville, as well as his Neville\u2019s sister and former England netball player Tracey Neville.<\/p>\n

\u201cHappy Birthday mate,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n

The couple\u2019s joint approach to the controversy which has dominated the headlines indicates the couple plan to avoid weighing into the claims made by their son.<\/p>\n

While David appeared at an event just hours after his son\u2019s statement was published, he refused to address the claims directly.<\/p>\n

In the lengthy statement on Instagram on Tuesday, Brooklyn also claimed:<\/p>\n

  • His mum cancelled making Nicola\u2019s wedding dress at the \u201celeventh hour\u201d, forcing her to find another dress.<\/li>\n
  • He had received \u201cendless attacks\u201d from his parents both privately and publicly, including stories sent to the press \u201con their orders\u201d.<\/li>\n
  • His mum called him \u201cevil\u201d because he and Nicola included grandparents at the bridal table, instead of his parents.<\/li>\n
  • His parents attempted to \u201cbribe\u201d him into \u201csigning away the rights\u201d to his name before his wedding day.<\/li>\n
  • Nicola was referred to as \u201cnot blood\u201d and \u201cnot family\u201d by members of the Beckham family<\/li>\n
  • David \u201crejected\u201d Brooklyn and Nicola\u2019s request to see him in London for his birthday, unless they turned up at his party \u201cwith a hundred guests and cameras at every corner.\u201d<\/li>\n
  • David eventually agreed to meet Brooklyn, under the condition Nicola wasn\u2019t invited.<\/li>\n
  • That \u201cBrand Beckham\u201d comes first and family members were valued based on their social media posts or availability for photo opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n
