Bradley Cooper<\/strong> has revealed that his mom, Gloria Campano<\/strong>, is hooked on Turkish soap operas and other dramas. He says her TV taste has \u201cevolved,\u201d and she\u2019s now so devoted to her latest viewing obsession that she\u2019ll watch for hours.<\/p>\n

The 51-year-old actor said Gloria has watched the Turkish rom-com Erkenci Ku\u015f\u00a0<\/strong>(also known as Early Bird) \u201cfour or five times\u201d and adores actor Can Yaman<\/a>, as well as other Turkish dramas. Appearing on a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Bradley said, \u201cShe loves Turkish soap operas. She watches everything. She graduated from Hallmark [Channel] into Turkish soap operas.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bradley then revealed that Gloria has \u201cevolved even further\u201d into watching story content that uses artificial intelligence (AI)-generated images,<\/strong> which she will view for \u201chours.\u201d The A Star is Born\u00a0actor, who has a daughter, Lea, eight, with his 39-year-old ex-girlfriend, model\u00a0Irina Shayk<\/strong>, whom he broke up with in June 2019 after four years together explained, \u201cShe just watches the screens where there are two people, AI images, and it\u2019s just a person telling a story.”<\/p>\n

He continued, “And I\u2019ll often come down making breakfast because when she stays with me in New York, she has a room down there, and I\u2019ll be making my daughter breakfast, and I could hear it. Or I\u2019ll go to the bathroom, which is right next to her. And I was like, \u2018Wow, these guys, these voices.\u2019 I mean, the guy\u2019s carrying it all. It\u2019s just an image. He added that he gets pulled into the plot even when he\u2019s not trying to, saying: \u201cAnd I\u2019m like, \u2018What\u2019s going to happen? Is the firm going to hire him? Did she see the note?\u2019 I was like, \u2018Yeah, it\u2019s really an art form. Turkish.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bradley, who has been dating model Gigi Hadid since October 2023<\/a>, first discovered Gloria\u2019s love for Turkish soap operas when he walked into a room and heard dramatic moments. He recalled: \u201cI was like, \u2018Oh, no, what happened?\u2019 Because I\u2019m hearing [dramatic noises]. And I walk in, and I\u2019m like, \u2018Mom, what are you watching?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Cooper then revealed the series as Erkenci Ku\u015f – also known as Early Bird -, and he shared that Gloria thinks its star Can Yaman (Can Divit) is the \u201cbest actor in the world.\u201d Gloria\u2019s early routine also involved reading English subtitles while watching the Turkish-language programs, and Bradley added, \u201cShe did this for a good like eight years, all through COVID.\u201d<\/p>\n
