Jamie Lee Curtis\u2019 forthcoming adaptation of the beloved Angela Lansbury<\/a> series \u201cMurder She Wrote<\/a>\u201d has landed a director.<\/p>\n

Jason Moore<\/a>, helmer of the franchise-launching \u201cPitch Perfect<\/a>\u201d and the forthcoming \u201cLegally Blonde<\/a>\u201d prequel series, is on the case at Universal<\/a>. Moore will direct a script by the previously announced Lauren Schuker Blum<\/a> and Rebecca Angelo<\/a>. Amy Pascal<\/a> and Lord Miller are on board as producers.<\/p>\n

Moore kicked off an incredible run for Elizabeth Banks\u2019 \u201cPitch Perfect<\/a>\u201d multiverse almost 15 years ago. The series has grossed close to $600 million at the worldwide box office, with all three costing less than $100 million to produce. His film credits include \u201cSisters,\u201d starring Amy Poehler<\/a>, Tina Fey<\/a> and Maya Rudolph<\/a> and \u201cShotgun Wedding<\/a>,\u201d with Jennifer Lopez<\/a> and Josh Duhamel<\/a>.<\/p>\n
