In fact, Christina has adopted that same approach when teaching her kids\u2014<\/span>who now all live with her and Matt in France<\/span><\/a>\u2014how to embrace their cultural heritage in a new environment.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe are a very close-knit family,\u201d she told <\/span>Parents<\/span><\/a> last October. \u201cMy mom is like the pinnacle of the family, and the matriarch. I think between the music, [Violet] is very aware of <\/span>Celia Cruz<\/strong>. And just like any other Latina artist out there, music really runs through our veins as well as the food, and [other aspects] of the culture.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

She added, \u201cWe still speak Spanish to each other sometimes. But, we\u2019ve come to learn other languages like French now, too.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
