Taylor Swift <\/a>will be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame <\/a>this summer, making the 36-year-old one of the youngest people ever to be welcomed into the prestigious organization.<\/p>\n Swift will be honored alongside her fellow class of 2026 inductees Alanis Morissette, <\/a>Kenny Loggins, Christopher \u201cTricky\u201d Stewart, Kiss<\/a>\u2019 Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, Terry Britten & Graham Lyle, and Walter Afanasieff.<\/p>\n More from Rolling Stone<\/strong><\/p>\n It\u2019s one of the latest record-breaking accomplishments that Swift can cross off her bucket list, joining the ranks of legendary musicians who became part of the Songwriters Hall of Fame at a young age. Stevie Wonder currently holds the title <\/a>of the youngest ever inductee, inducted<\/a>\u00a0at 33\u00a0in 1983.<\/p>\n A writer with a \u201cnotable catalog of songs\u201d becomes eligible for the honor after their first commercially released song turns 20 years old. In June 2006, a 15-year-old Swift released her debut country single, \u201cTim McGraw.\u201d The milestone anniversary made her eligible for induction for the first time this year.<\/p>\n \u201cTaylor qualified from when she was 15 years old,\u201d President and CEO of the Songwriters Hall of Fame Linda Moran told USA Today in November<\/a> when Swift was nominated. \u201cThat\u2019s shortly after she signed her publishing deal and had her first commercial release. So age-wise, she\u2019s the youngest, and I don\u2019t know when we\u2019re going to see someone that young again.\u201d<\/p>\n The organization recognized Swift\u2019s songs \u201cAll Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor\u2019s Version),\u201d \u201cBlank Space,\u201d \u201cAnti-Hero,\u201d and \u201cLove Story\u201d as notable songs in her catalog.<\/p>\n Also to be recognized at the ceremony, slated for June 11 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City, will be Morissette, honored for her songs \u201cYou Oughta Know\u201d and \u201c Ironic,\u201d\u00a0and the \u201cKing of the Movie Soundtrack,\u201d Loggins, who was behind hits \u201cFootloose\u201d and \u201cDanger Zone.\u201d<\/p>\n R&B and pop hitmaker Christopher \u201cTricky\u201d Stewart, who helped pen Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s \u201cSingle Ladies (Put a Ring on It),\u201d Mariah Carey\u2019s \u201cTouch My Body,\u201d Rihanna\u2019s \u201cUmbrella,\u201d will be among those inducted; as well as Walter Afanasieff, a frequent collaborator of Mariah Carey\u2019s who helped write her hits \u201cAll I Want For Christmas Is You,\u201d \u201cMy All,\u201d and \u201cHero.\u201d<\/p>\n Additionally, British songwriting duo Terry Britten and Graham Lyle will be inducted, known for \u201cWhat\u2019s Love Got To Do With It\u201d and \u201cDevil Woman,\u201d and KISS members Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, behind anthems \u201cRock and Roll All Nite\u201d and \u201cI Love It Loud.\u201d<\/p>\n Nile Rodgers, the organization\u2019s chairman, said in a statement, \u201cThe music industry is built upon the incredible talent of songwriters who create unforgettable songs.
