Former Teen Mom<\/i><\/span><\/a> star Jenelle Evans<\/span><\/a><\/strong> is ready to set the record straight on her recent reunion with ex-husband David Eason<\/span><\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Our 8-year-old daughter] Ensley was in the hospital for having a very bad allergic reaction to amoxicillin,\u201d Evans, 34, exclusively shared with Us Weekly<\/i> on Wednesday, January 21. \u201cShe was taking it because of the flu. She\u2019s better now and has a change of meds. As for David, I was required to tell him Ensley was in the hospital due to an emergency and custody.\u201d<\/p>\n

(Amoxicillin, according to the Mayo Clinic<\/span><\/a>, belongs to the group of penicillin antibiotics most commonly used to treat ear, lung, nose, sinus, skin and urinary tract infections.)<\/p>\n

Evans filed to separate from Eason, 37, in March 2024 after six years of marriage. In July 2025, a judge agreed to grant<\/span><\/a> her motion for an \u201cabsolute divorce\u201d between her and her ex.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tJenelle Evans and her ex-husband, David Eason, have gone through ups and downs over the years. The\u00a0Teen Mom 2\u00a0alum began dating Eason in 2015. Shortly after their September 2017 nuptials, the pair welcomed daughter Ensley in January 2018. (Evans is also the mom of son Jace, whom she shares with ex Andrew Lewis, and son [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While the pair haven\u2019t always seen eye to eye, Evans said their latest reunion went peacefully.<\/p>\n

\u201cThings were smooth, and I\u2019m happy we can come together to coparent so well during a scary time like that,\u201d Evans told Us<\/i>. \u201cHe has since then flown back to North Carolina.\u201d<\/p>\n

The reunion, however, left some fans speculating that Evans and Eason could be reconciling. According to The Ashley\u2019s Reality Roundup<\/span><\/a>, the pair were spotted enjoying a meal at The Cheesecake Factory in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

The outlet also claimed the pair briefly held hands in a since-deleted TikTok video.<\/p>\n

Evans, however, downplayed the alleged significance of the coparents\u2019 meal, telling Us<\/i>, \u201cDid we go out to eat? Yes, we did because Ensley hasn\u2019t seen David in two years.\u201d<\/p>\n

The former Teen Mom 2<\/i> star \u2014 who also shares Kaiser, 11, with ex-boyfriend Nathan Griffith<\/strong> and Jace, 16, with ex Andrew Lewis<\/strong> \u2014 has previously responded<\/span><\/a> to speculation that she is friendly with Eason.<\/p>\n

In October 2025, Evans responded to an X user asking if she was \u201ctalking to David again.\u201d<\/p>\n

She clarified, \u201cF*** no,\u201d adding a laughing emoji.<\/p>\n

When another fan asked if Evans thought that Eason \u201cwill reach out\u201d in the coming months, she used the digital acronyms for \u201cI don\u2019t know\u201d and \u201cI don\u2019t care,\u201d writing, \u201cHe\u2019s obviously the same person I left.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although it appears that Evans and Eason are now following each other on Instagram again, the MTV reality star previously told Us<\/i><\/span><\/a> that she\u2019s far from interested in dating anyone.<\/p>\n
