Vanna White and\u00a0John Donaldson<\/a>\u00a0are officially married.<\/p>\n The \u201cWheel of Fortune\u201d star surprised her followers when she revealed that she and her longtime love tied the knot.<\/p>\n In a Jan. 21\u00a0Instagram<\/a>\u00a0post, White, 68, is seen in a white dress as Donaldson carries her in his arms.<\/p>\n “Surprise! We got married! John and I have been in love for more than a decade and a little while back, we wanted to make it official in a private ceremony,” White captioned her post.<\/p>\n She added that they are \u201cexcited to share this new joyful chapter in our lives with all of you,\u201d signing it, \u201cLove, Vanna and John.\u201d<\/p>\n The post also includes throwback photos from their time together, including one of them posing in front of a heart sign and another of them sitting in chairs beside a pool while holding hands and lovingly looking at each other.<\/p>\n Her son, Nikko Santo Pietro,\u00a0<\/a>shared the news of his mom\u2019s wedding on his\u00a0Instagram story<\/a>, writing, \u201cCongrats mom and John!!\u201d<\/p>\n He also commented, \u201cCongrats!!\u201d with a confetti and champagne emoji on White\u2019s post.<\/p>\n Maggie Sajak, Pat Sajak\u2019s daughter and social correspondent for \u201cWheel of Fortune,\u201d commented teary eyes and a white heart emoji on White\u2019s announcement.<\/p>\n Ryan Seacrest congratulated White on his\u00a0Instagram story<\/a>, too.<\/p>\n White met Donaldson, a construction company owner, in 2012 after a mutual friend brought him to a barbecue White was hosting, according to\u00a0People.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cI remember looking at him and thinking, \u2018He\u2019s really cute,\u2019\u201d she told the magazine. \u201cWe ended up talking for a long time that night.\u201d<\/p>\n Before they became husband and wife, White shared that she didn\u2019t feel pressured to get remarried. In December 2025, she told\u00a0E! News<\/a>\u00a0that she felt they were still in the honeymoon phase.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re very happy. We\u2019ve been together for a long time and we are just happy the way it is,\u201d she said at the time. \u201cMaybe people want to see us get married. When you\u2019ve been with someone for so long, you kind of feel like you\u2019re already married. You don\u2019t have to have that piece of paper.\u201d<\/p>\n She previously told People in 2023 that she already felt as if they were husband and wife.<\/p>\n Adding, \u201cI know that he\u2019s the one.
