\n\tLove and diplomacy are in the air again as sequel feature Red, White & Royal Wedding<\/a><\/em> begins production. <\/p>\n \n\tAmazon MGM Studios<\/a> announced the full cast Wednesday for director Jamie Babbit\u2019s movie follow-up to its 2023 queer romance Red, White & Royal Blue<\/a><\/em>. Stars Taylor Zakhar Perez<\/a> and Nicholas Galitzine<\/a> were previously confirmed to reprise their roles after originating them in director Matthew L\u00f3pez\u2019s initial film that adapted author Casey McQuiston\u2019s 2019 novel. <\/p>\n \n\tThe castmembers who have been newly confirmed to return from the first movie include Uma Thurman<\/a> (Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair<\/em>), Sarah Shahi<\/a> (Paradise<\/em>), Rachel Hilson<\/a> (This Is Us<\/em>), Ellie Bamber (Moss & Freud<\/em>), Clifton Collins Jr.<\/a> (Jockey<\/em>), Stephen Fry<\/a> (The Morning Show<\/em>), Thomas Flynn (Run Away<\/em>), Aneesh Sheth (Marvel\u2019s Jessica Jones<\/em>) and Malcolm Atobrah (The Running Man<\/em>). Newcomers to the cast include Henry Ashton (A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms<\/em>) and Alex H\u00f8gh Andersen (Vikings<\/em>).<\/p>\n \n\tPlot details have not yet been revealed for the sequel that has a script credited to McQuiston, L\u00f3pez and Gemma Burgess. L\u00f3pez produces alongside Greg Berlanti<\/a>, Sarah Schechter and Michael McGrath for Berlanti Schechter Films, in addition to Jennifer Salke<\/a> for Sullivan Street Productions. McQuiston and Michael Constable will executive produce.<\/p>\n \n\tRed, White & Royal Wedding\u2019<\/em>s Instagram account posted a video<\/a> earlier this week in which Perez and Galitzine clarified that the titular nuptials involve Princess Beatrice (Bamber), the younger sister to Galitzine\u2019s character, Prince Henry.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI do want to say that we are here for Bea\u2019s wedding,\u201d said Perez, who plays First Son Alex Claremont-Diaz. Added Galitzine about their own characters potentially tying the knot: \u201cDon\u2019t get confused. That\u2019s a long ways off, at this point.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThe sequel\u2019s production launch follows the recent popularity for Heated Rivalry<\/a><\/em>, which aired its first season late last year on HBO Max and similarly focuses on an enemies-to-lovers LGBTQ<\/a> relationship.<\/p>\n \n\tThurman is represented by CAA, Untitled Entertainment, Jonathan Sanders & Co and Jacobson Teller.
