Scotland’s notorious slam-brutalists Party Cannon<\/a><\/strong> are set to release their new EP, Subjected To A Partying<\/em>, on March 27 via Unique Leader Records. The release marks the debut of vocalist Daryl “The Frogman” Boyce<\/strong> and a uniquely wild twist: a limited Nintendo 64 cartridge edition of the EP.<\/p>\n To preview the chaos, the band has dropped a live video of “Human Slime (Live at Obscene Extreme 2025)”, captured in full debauched glory and streaming below. To spice things up, remixes from Kmac2021<\/strong>, Frontierer<\/strong>, and Ritual Studio<\/strong> are included, alongside live recordings from Glasgow 2025. That’s right, it’s time to get N or get out.<\/p>\n “To celebrate Daryl ‘The Frogman’ Boyce<\/strong>‘s first release as our new vocalist, we decided to make it something truly special, and there’s nothing more special than a console that’s lifespan ended in 2001. Vominic Stonebones<\/strong> painstakingly designed and ported the cartridge himself. The Frogman<\/strong> sounds like unfettered pressurized sewerage pouring all over these tracks, and we couldn’t be happier with how disgusting these vocals are, it’s a new era of Party Slam.<\/p>\n “It’s been a mental year for Party Cannon<\/strong> \u2013 played every festival ever, toured non-stop, new vocalist, the official addition of a skull man to the band \u2013 so we wanted to give you all a taste of the new low the band has sunk to rather than making you wait 7 years for a new album (again).<\/p>\n “We took a slightly different approach to writing this EP, we distilled our sound down to its four main components\u2013 slam, goregrind, early 2000s brutal death metal, and NYDM \u2013 and wrote a song that focused on each of those styles while still retaining the Party Slam sound. So one song is slam focused, one is goregrind etc. As a spicy treat, we also invited some of our friends to join in on the dumbassery \u2013 the EP features remixes from low IQ legends Kmac2021<\/strong>, Frontierer<\/strong> and Ritual Studio<\/strong>.<\/p>\n “As a bonus, we’ve released the live video of ‘Human Slime’ at Obscene Extreme 2025 on the Unique Leader Youtube channel today.
