It\u2019s time to talk about <\/span>Harry Styles<\/span><\/a>. He\u2019s the quintessential pop icon. He returned to the modern music landscape by delivering a five-minute song this week. He announced a <\/span>30-date New York City residency at Madison Square Garden<\/span><\/a>. To many people, he is <\/span>everything<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAperture,\u201d Styles\u2019 first single in nearly three years, is everything fans have expected and then some. Styles\u2019 songs have a clean and unique mix that help them sound powerful. Think of how \u201cGolden\u201d opened his record <\/span>Fine Line<\/span><\/i> or how \u201cMusic For a Sushi Restaurant\u201d put listeners\u2019 ears into a groove at the beginning of <\/span>Harry\u2019s House<\/span><\/i>. \u201cAperture\u201d is made with that Styles sound.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAperture\u201d starts softly with a humming rhythm and a gentle beat. Styles\u2019 vocals are slightly padded with effects. Imagine the lights shining increasingly brighter on a mirrorball in the center of the dancehall when Styles roaringly declares, \u201cWe belong together!\u201d Like the title of his <\/span>upcoming album<\/span><\/a>, this song is like one constant kiss, while the disco shows up for the chorus.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Harry Styles is in a new era. It\u2019s sure to be a classic one. This is just scratching the surface. More will be known when his fourth solo album <\/span>Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally<\/span><\/i> is released on March 6.<\/span><\/p>\n
