Byrne was nominated for Best Actress for her performance in If I Had Legs I’d Kick You<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Bobby Cannavale<\/a> is celebrating a major milestone for his partner.<\/p>\n The Vinyl<\/em> star posted a screenshot<\/a> of an ebullient FaceTime conversation with Rose Byrne<\/a>, who received her first Oscar nomination Thursday morning for her leading performance in If I Had Legs I’d Kick You<\/em>.<\/p>\n “Academy Award Nominee Best Actress Winner Best Mama, Friend, Human\u00a0 What a moment @fullyrosebyrne,” Cannavale wrote before pointing out a notification at the top of the screenshot. “Also, thanks Google Home for letting me know someone walked in front of our house, again.”<\/p>\n Bobby Cannavale\/Instagram<\/p>\n Bobby Cannavale’s Instagram post<\/p><\/div>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n Cannavale and Byrne have been together since 2012, and share two children together. They’ve acted together in movies like Spy<\/em>, TV shows like Platonic<\/em>, and plays such as Medea<\/em>, and said<\/a> that they call each other “husband and wife” despite never officially tying the knot.<\/p>\n Many Golden Globes viewers were surprised, then, that Cannavale was nowhere to be seen when Byrne took home the trophy for Best Female Actor \u2013 Motion Picture \u2013 Musical\/Comedy on Jan. 11.<\/p>\n “I wanna thank my husband, Bobby Cannavale, who couldn’t be here because we’re getting a bearded dragon and he went to a reptile expo in New Jersey,” she said during her tearful acceptance speech<\/a>. “So thank you, thank you, baby.”<\/p>\n Byrne previously told <\/a>Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show <\/em>that Cannavale and the kids would be tied up at the expo, noting that it would be “such a parent fail” if her family missed out on the bearded dragon just to attend the Golden Globes. “I’m on board for the dragon,” she said. “It’s gonna be great.”<\/p>\n Several prominent actors commented on Cannavale’s celebratory post, including Naomi Watts, who costarred with the Station Agent<\/em> actor in The Watcher<\/em> and Movie 43<\/em>.<\/p>\n “Love this so much!! Are you bringing the bearded dragon?” the Mulholland Drive<\/em> actress asked.<\/p>\n The Matrix<\/em> star Joe Pantoliano also commented, “Wonderful news \ud83d\ude4c congratulations \ud83c\udf7e.”<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Amanda Seyfried, who hit the awards circuit in support of The Testament of Ann Lee<\/em> but ultimately didn’t receive an Oscar nomination, commented, “\u2764\ufe0f\ud83d\ude4c.”<\/p>\n And Byrne herself responded, “\ud83e\udd79\ud83e\udef6\ud83c\udffc boo @bobby_cannavale.”<\/p>\n If I Had Legs I’d Kick You<\/em> stars Byrne as a therapist struggling to care for her daughter, who has a feeding disorder, while her husband is out of town for work. Such an honor, these women are incredible in this category. This movie, I feel like I’m the naughty kid who snuck in the back of the bus.”<\/p>\n The Bridesmaids<\/em> star also shared an update on the bearded dragon, who still has yet to be named: “He’s so sweet.
