\n After a successful inaugural event in 2025, Swinterfest will return with a line up of music, comedy, poetry and art events.\n<\/p>\n
\n Gigs and new events will be held at multiple venues around the town.\n<\/p>\n
\n At The Hop in Old Town, the opening night on Thursday, January 29 starts at 7pm.\n<\/p>\n
\n The line-up features Harmony Asia, Mac Lloyd, Flo & The Escape Lane (Trio), Mr Love & Justice, and then Canute’s Plastic Army closing the night at 10pm.\n<\/p>\n
\n The event is open to those aged 16 and over when accompanied by an adult.\n<\/p>\n
\n The Pulpit on Devizes Road will host Swinterfest\u2019s first-ever poetry open-mic, starting at 7pm on the same evening.\n<\/p>\n
\n On January 30, the Swindon Old Town Comedy Club will present a comedy night at the Christ Church Community Centre, headlined by Ricky Balshaw (known for appearances on Channel 4, Sky, BBC, Comedy Central), with support from Eva Binderman and Joe Merchant.\n<\/p>\n
\n Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start, \u00a312 advance bookings or \u00a315 on the door.\n<\/p>\n
\n The Victoria will also host a music night for anyone aged 18 or over on January 30, from 7pm.\n<\/p>\n
\n The line-up includes Sunkats, Mezzanine, Careful, Spider, Dreamweapon, Boss Cloth, and I See Orange.\n<\/p>\n
\n A creative afternoon fringe event will take place at Rudi\u2019s Bar in the town centre on Saturday, January 31.\n<\/p>\n
\n Run in partnership with Brush Party, the session invites people to paint a winter sheep with guidance from artist Sam.\n<\/p>\n
