Olivia Wilde<\/a> says Gen Z wants to see less sex in movies and TV because they \u201cdon\u2019t want to see inauthenticity anymore.\u201d According to a study from UCLA<\/a>, nearly half of Gen Z (48.4%) believe there\u2019s \u201ctoo much sex and sexual content in TV and movies.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI think Gen Z is pretty smart\u2026 the way that sex has been portrayed in film for a long time hasn\u2019t been particularly realistic,\u201d Wilde<\/a> said at the film\u2019s Sundance premiere. \u201cTherefore, there\u2019s been this movement now towards authenticity, which is really good. So I choose to interpret that statistic maybe as Gen Z saying, \u2018We don\u2019t want to see inauthenticity anymore. We want to see real relationships, and we want to have something that feels more genuine.\u2019 So I like that.\u201d<\/p>\n
