Online<\/a><\/p>\n Maren Morris<\/a><\/strong>\u2019s latest creative partner might come as a surprise.<\/p>\n Two years after the \u201cMy Church\u201d singer and ex-husband Ryan Hurd<\/strong> finalized their divorce<\/a>, the former couple reunited in a recording studio, seemingly hard at work on new music.<\/p>\n In a post on Maren\u2019s Instagram Stories<\/a> Jan. 23, the 35-year-old shared a photo of Ryan, 39\u2014who is dad to their son Hayes<\/strong>, 5\u2014wearing headphones and holding a microphone as producer Jon Green<\/strong> sat in front of a laptop. Alongside the snap, she tagged the two men and wrote, \u201cWe back.\u201d<\/p>\n The apparent musical partnership isn\u2019t totally without precedent. After all, Maren and Ryan met while co-writing Tim McGraw<\/strong>\u2019s song \u201cLast Turn Home\u201d in 2013 and started dating two years later, going on to exchange vows in Nashville<\/a> in March 2018.<\/p>\n And while the pair parted ways romantically<\/a> in 2023, the Grammy winner recently shared that she and her ex have cultivated an amicable relationship in the wake of their breakup.<\/p>\n Maren and Ryan aren\u2019t the only celebrity exes who have built successful friendships.
