Fans have gone wild as they speculate Harry Style’s new music video is inspired by David Bowie<\/a>‘s I’m Afraid of Americans.<\/p>\n

The former One Direction<\/a> singer, 31, released the video his single Aperture on Friday – which has already amassed more than six million views- after a four year hiatus from music.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The video for his new song begins in a mundane setting with the singer in a hotel, but it turns action-packed as he ends up being chased by a fan through the street and the two become involved in a fight.<\/p>\n

It clearly mimics Bowie’s video, which also follows the star being chased by a man with the same stature and long dark hair as it embodies an abstract concept that the singer was famously known for.<\/p>\n

However in Harry’s version, they eventually come together in a choreographed dance scene before they eventually part ways.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Fans have been quick to spot the similarities as they compare Harry’s video to the music legend’s 2022 hit and brand it ‘David Bowie coded’.<\/p>\n

While under Bowie’s\u00a0I’m afraid of Americans, which has totalled seven million views, fans said: ‘Harry Styles definitely took this video as inspiration for the Arperture video’.<\/p>\n

Another wrote: ‘There’s no way Harry Style’s video for his new single Arperture isn’t inspired by this.’\u00a0<\/p>\n
