\t\t<\/p>\n Natalie Portman<\/strong><\/a> is one of the latest celebrities to condemn the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).<\/p>\n While attending the 2026 Sundance Film Festival<\/strong><\/a> to promote her movie The Gallerist, the 44-year-old Oscar winner was seen wearing multiple pins reading \u201cICE Out\u201d and \u201cBe Good,\u201d referring to the fatal shooting of Renee Good<\/strong><\/a> by ICE in Minneapolis earlier this month.<\/p>\n Earlier on January 24, a man named Alex Pretti<\/strong> was fatally shot by federal agents in the same city<\/a>. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Speaking with Variety<\/a>, Natalie<\/strong> said that while she\u2019s very excited to be at the film festival and celebrate the film, she also feels that it is \u201creally impossible not to talk about what is happening right now and the brutality of ICE and how it has to stop immediately.\u201d <\/p>\n She continued, \u201cBut also, there\u2019s a beautiful community that Americans are showing right now. They\u2019re showing up for each other, protecting each other and fighting for their freedom. It\u2019s a bittersweet moment to celebrate something we\u2019re so proud of on the backdrop of our nation in pain.\u201d<\/p>\n The Black Swan star also took a moment to criticize the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for snubbing multiple acclaimed female-directed movies<\/a> this year, specifically naming films like Sorry Baby, Left-Handed Girl, Hedda, and The Testament of Ann Lee.<\/p>\n \u201cSo many of the best films I saw this year were made by women,\u201d Natalie<\/strong> said. <\/p>\n During the Golden Globes, Mark Ruffalo<\/strong><\/a> also slammed ICE and the current state of the U.S. in an impassioned speech on the red carpet.
