However, Nix struggles in the new job as his passion and heart remain on patrol and on the streets.<\/p>\n Sullivan has signed on as a series regular along with Jay Ellis<\/strong>. The latter plays Alex Holland, the lead character and the oldest rookie at the Pierce County Police Department.<\/p>\n The pilot for The Rookie: North<\/em><\/a> is slated to film in Vancouver next month. It will follow Alex Holland\u2019s midlife crisis that forces him to leave Los Angeles behind for Washington and begin a new career. The actor has also done voiceover work on Megamind Rules!,<\/em>Megamind vs. The Doom Syndicate<\/em>, and Merry Little Batman<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n In 2024, Sullivan teamed up with his This Is Us<\/em> co-stars Mandy Moore<\/a><\/strong> and Sterling K.
