The Testaments is heading back to Gilead starting April 8.<\/p>\n

Hulu<\/a>\u2019s highly anticipated sequel series to The Handmaid\u2019s Tale<\/a> had previously revealed it would launch in April, and has now has set a premiere date. The new chapter from the showrunner and executive producers of The Handmaid\u2019s Tale<\/a> premieres with three episodes, followed by a weekly release.<\/p>\n

The Hulu original series will be available on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+<\/a> for bundle subscribers in the U.S., and on Disney+ internationally.<\/p>\n

The series returns The Handmaid\u2019s Tale<\/a> star Ann Dowd<\/a> to the role of Aunt Lydia and introduces new characters led by Chase Infiniti<\/a>, who steps into the role of Agnes\/Hannah \u2014 the daughter to June Osborne<\/a>, who was played by Elisabeth Moss<\/a> in The Handmaid\u2019s Tale<\/a>. Lucy Halliday<\/a>, Rowan Blanchard<\/a>, Mattea Conforti<\/a>, Isolde Ardies<\/a>, Shechinah Mpumlwana<\/a> and Birva Pandya<\/a> round out the cast.<\/p>\n
