The Mad Men<\/a> alum reunited with his former costar Jon Hamm<\/a><\/strong> in the new comedy Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass\u2014an official selection of the Premieres at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival<\/a>\u2014raving that he had \u201cthe best\u201d experience working with his old scene partner again.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s always super fun,\u201d John told E! News\u2019 Will Marfuggi<\/a><\/strong> in an exclusive interview in Park City, Utah, Jan. 25. \u201cNo overt communication necessary.\u201d<\/p>\n

In fact, Jon, 54, had a straightforward pitch to get the 63-year-old to sign onto the project, in which a bride-to-be (Zoey Deutch<\/strong>) seeks revenge on her fianc\u00e9 (Michael Cassidy<\/strong>) for using his celebrity \u201chall pass\u201d ahead of their wedding.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe actually called me about this and said, \u2018David Wayne<\/strong> wrote a script\u2014he wants to send it to you,\u2019\u201d John continued. \u201cI said, \u2018Send it.\u2019 I was in Budapest, it was the middle of the night, I was jetlagged. He sent me the script and I read it at 1 in the morning, then called him back immediately and said, \u2018I\u2019m in.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
