Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor<\/a> has been spotted in Windsor today wearing a jumper that is a nod to his past. The former Duke of York, 65, was seen driving a car in the town wearing a Grenadier Guards jumper.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The purple jumper was no doubt something the former prince had as a result of his past role as a Colonel of the Grenadier Guards.<\/a> This was a role he had for four years, after taking it on from Prince Philip in December 2017, to losing it in 2022 when he lost his military titles.<\/a> This was a move that came about when his mum Queen Elizabeth II stripped Andrew of his honorary affiliations with the armed forces in 2022 as a result of scandals surrounding Andrew and his past friendship with the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The former prince is expected to leave the 30-room mansion within the next few weeks and relocate to Sandringham. This is a move that has come about following yet more scandals surrounding Andrew\u2019s past friendship with Epstein.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Andrew continues to deny all accusations against him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While the former duke has not commented on how he is feeling ahead of his eviction from Royal Lodge, a friend of Andrew\u2019s told The Daily Mail<\/a> that they are concerned about the \u201cfragile\u201d state he is in, alongside his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The pair have kept a low profile since losing their royal titles in October, with Andrew having only been seen out horse-riding around the Windsor estate or in his car.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While Andrew and Sarah have remained good friends since their divorce, and have even co-habited Royal Lodge together since 2008, it is believed they are just days away from going their separate ways.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
