Billie Eilish<\/a><\/strong> is calling on her “fellow celebrities” to stand up and say something following the recent events in Minneapolis.<\/p>\n One day after Alex Pretti<\/strong> was fatally shot by ICE agents in Minneapolis on Saturday, Jan. 24, the “Birds of a Feather” singer<\/a> issued several messages on social media to speak out about the situation, and now she’s encouraging other stars in the industry to do the same.<\/p>\n \ud83c\udfacSIGN UP for Parade’s Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox<\/strong><\/a>\ud83c\udfac<\/p>\n Among several Instagram Stories posted by Eilish on Sunday, the Grammy winner shared a selfie with the caption, “hey my fellow celebrities u gonna speak up? or”<\/p>\n The 24-year-old music<\/a> artist\u2014who is both vocal and active when it comes to her political beliefs\u2014 also shared videos of her brother Finneas<\/a><\/strong> denouncing ICE on his own social media pages, seemingly echoing his stance against the increasingly violent situation in Minneapolis.<\/p>\n In Finneas’ video, he attempted to shut down claims that Pretti’s was killed after pulling his gun on ICE officers\u2014claims that appear to be contradicted in eyewitness footage from Saturday’s events obtained by several major media outlets, including the WashingtonPost<\/a>.<\/p>\n “This guy was being beaten to a pulp on the ground. He didn’t draw his weapon,” Finneas insisted in his emphatic video message.<\/p>\n The “What Was I Made For” songstress appeared to repost Finneas’ message to Instagram in an attempt to share his message following concerns that he was being “silenced” on TikTok<\/a>.
