<\/story-highlights> When it comes to the Super Bowl,<\/a> it’s not just about football.<\/p>\n Historically,<\/a> it’s also about watching the fun commercials, and it’s also about live music.<\/p>\n This year<\/a> will be no different.<\/p>\n Two big acts are scheduled to play at Super Bowl 60 in Santa Clara, California, on Feb. 8, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. and it’s not just the New England Patriots<\/a> and the Seattle Seahawks.<\/p>\n Here’s who they are.<\/a><\/p>\n The rock band, Green Day<\/a> will play at the opening ceremony of Super Bowl 60, which will take place at 3 p.m.<\/p>\n This performance will be on your local NBC channel<\/a>, and will also stream on Peacock.<\/a><\/p>\n Latino superstar Bad Bunny<\/a> will be playing the halftime show at the Super Bowl this year.<\/p>\n Bad Bunny<\/a> was Spotify’s most listened-to artist globally last year for the fourth consecutive time, according to USA Today.<\/p>\n Trump has clashed in particular Bad Bunny, one of the most popular musicians in the world, who supported former Vice President\u00a0Kamala Harris<\/a>\u00a0in the 2024 presidential election.<\/p>\n Bad Bunny<\/a> didn’t schedule any stops in the United States for his latest world tour in part because of concerns about the Trump administration’s widely aggressive immigration enforcement policies, he said.<\/p>\n “There were many reasons why I didn’t show up in the U.S., and none of them were out of hate,” the rapper\u00a0told I-D magazine<\/a>. “But there was the issue of … ICE could be outside (my concert). And it’s something that we were talking about and very concerned about.”<\/p>\n Regarding Bad Bunny<\/a> and Green Day, Trump said earlier this month, “\u201cI\u2019m anti-them,” he said. “I think it\u2019s a terrible choice. All it does is sow hatred. Terrible.”<\/p>\n Trump said he won’t be attending the Super Bowl<\/a> this year, but not because he doesn’t like the entertainment choices.<\/p>\n “It\u2019s just too far away. I would.
