Take That have surprised fans by debuting a brand\u2011new song, You\u2019re A Superstar<\/em><\/strong>, during the closing credits of the final episode of their three\u2011part Netflix documentary. <\/p>\n

The unexpected track appears in the finale of the tell\u2011all series and has now been confirmed as the first taste of the group\u2019s next studio album \u2014 their first since 2023\u2019s This Life<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A source told The Mirror<\/a><\/em> the band deliberately kept the song under wraps: \u201cThe band thought it would be a great surprise and a treat for fans at the end of the Netflix series. It\u2019s a great way to tease their new material and the full single will be coming soon.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gary Barlow previously revealed that new music was already in motion, though he admitted he\u2019s increasingly drawn to releasing songs as they\u2019re finished rather than waiting for a full album cycle. <\/p>\n

Speaking to The Sun\u2019s Bizarre column in 2025, he said the trio were back in the studio as soon as their tour wrapped and were keen to keep momentum going, adding that fans \u201cwant stuff now\u201d rather than waiting years between albums.<\/p>\n

The Netflix documentary charts the band\u2019s rise, fall and reinvention, revisiting both the highs and the more difficult chapters of their career. <\/p>\n

Gary admitted the second episode \u2014 which explores the pressures of fame \u2014 was particularly hard to watch, telling The Daily Telegraph it took him a week to get through it because it brought back memories he hadn\u2019t revisited in years.<\/p>\n

Now operating as a trio since the departures of Robbie Williams and Jason Orange, the group say they\u2019ve reached their limit when it comes to slimming down further. <\/p>\n

Gary Said: \u201cI think three is as small as we\u2019re gonna get.”<\/p>\n

Mark Owen quipped that they could always rename themselves Take Two. <\/p>\n

Gary laughed: \u201cThat\u2019s not a bad name.\u201d<\/p>\n
