As the official final air date for The Late Show<\/a> was revealed Tuesday, Stephen Colbert<\/a> admits that the end of the show \u201cfeels real now.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the host\u2019s Tuesday night appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers<\/a>, where it was revealed that May 21 will be the final show, Colbert<\/a> elaborated on his feelings about the series\u2019 impending conclusion.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt feels real now,\u201d he told Seth Meyers of The Late Show<\/a> with Stephen Colbert ending. \u201cIt did not feel \u2014 I mean, I know it was real, but now, there\u2019s four months left.\u201d<\/p>\n

Colbert also noted that while \u201cthe shows are fun to do\u201d as host, he is not looking forward to parting ways with the people working on the show behind-the-scenes.<\/p>\n
