CBS<\/a> has unveiled the ensemble cast photo for Season 2 of its groundbreaking daytime soap opera, Beyond the Gates.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

The series is led by \u201cthe powerful Dupree family alongside the Richardsons and Hamiltons who live in the posh gated community of Fairmont Crest.\u201d<\/p>\n

Aside from a newly-announced crossover<\/a> with fellow CBS soap, The Young and the Restless, <\/em>the storylines this season also include, \u201cAnita\u2019s (Tamara Tunie) emotional breast cancer journey, the show\u2019s first engagement, a glamorous cotillion, a surprise musical guest star for the Easter episode, plus much more.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the photo, front row (L\u2013R) are Najah Jackson (Samantha Richardson), Brandon Claybon (Martin Richardson), Colby Muhammad (Katherine \u201cKat\u201d Richardson), Daphnee Duplaix (Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson), Tamara Tunie (Anita Dupree), Clifton Davis (Vernon Dupree), Karla Mosley (Dani Dupree), Arielle Prepetit (Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne), RhonniRose Mantilla (Chelsea Hamilton), and Lauren Buglioli (Vanessa McBride).<\/p>\n

Which characters don\u2019t appear in the photo and what it means for some that do <\/h2>\n

The inclusion of Miller and Jackson suggests continued expansion for their characters, who had pretty prominent storylines during Q4 of 2025 and the top of this year. It also suggests more for Kenjah, who plays Madison, the love interest of Matilla\u2019s Chelsea, and David Lami Friebe\u2019s Izaiah, who is Jacob\u2019s brother.<\/p>\n

Notable cast members missing are new cast members and soap opera veterans Jordi Vilauso and Greg Vaughan.<\/p>\n

Supporting characters who aren\u2019t in the photo include Jasmine Burke, who plays June (Tyrell and Samantha\u2019s biological mother), and Ernestine Johnson Morrison, who plays the comedic nurse Shanice Johnson. The character recently started a romance with Ted. <\/p>\n

Beyond the Gates\u00a0<\/em>is produced by CBS Studios, as part of\u00a0the\u00a0CBS Studios\/NAACP Venture, in partnership with P&G Studios, a division of Procter & Gamble.
