The days-long bidding war for Olivia Wilde<\/a>\u2019s latest feature \u201cThe Invite<\/a>\u201d continued heating up Sundance on Tuesday as Warner Bros.<\/a>\u2019 new contemporary film label entered the ring with A24<\/a> and Focus Features<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Headed by former Neon<\/a> execs Christian Parkes<\/a>, Jason Wald<\/a> and Spencer Collantes<\/a>, Warner Bros. Pictures\u2019 new specialty film label joined the bidding frenzy for the comedy starring Wilde<\/a>, Seth Rogen<\/a>, Penelope Cruz<\/a> and Edward Norton<\/a>, TheWrap<\/a> has learned.<\/p>\n

A24 and Focus<\/a> features are circling the project as well, as TheWrap previously reported. The film was among the buzziest projects at the festival and garnered a standing ovation at its Sunday premiere.<\/p>\n
