After almost 10 years, a new Dragon Ball Super<\/a> anime sequel is finally confirmed to be in production.<\/p>\n

A new Dragon Ball Super<\/a> anime sequel that adapts the “Galactic Patrol” storyline from the manga was just confirmed at Dragon Ball Genkidamatsuri, the mega Dragon Ball 40th anniversary event taking place on Jan. 25, 2026, in Japan. Masako Nozawa<\/a>, the Japanese voice actor of Goku<\/a>, and Dragon Ball<\/a> executive producer Akio Iyoku<\/a> were present when the long-awaited announcement was finally made. This will be the first new Dragon Ball<\/a> anime since the series creator, Akira Toriyama<\/a>, passed away in 2024.<\/p>\n
