On Monday, January 26, the 71-year-old Canadian filmmaker took to his Instagram account to confirm the development to fans eagerly awaiting the unexpected collaboration.<\/p>\n

Cameron announced that the forthcoming documentary had been pushed back due to technical difficulties. It was originally supposed to premiere on March 20, 2026.<\/p>\n

“We\u2019re refining the cut; dialling in cool, new 3D tech; adding some special behind-the-scenes we know you\u2019ll love,” the Titanic <\/i>director wrote in the caption.<\/p>\n

Building excitement among fans, Cameron added, “HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: THE TOUR (LIVE IN 3D) will now release Friday, May 8th. Worth the wait!”<\/p>\n
