Jimmy Kimmel<\/a> on Tuesday challenged President Donald Trump<\/a> to back up a claim he constantly makes about Americans who protest against him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThese are paid insurrectionists. These are paid agitators,\u201d Trump said in a Fox News<\/a> interview. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kimmel\u2019s studio audience booed the president. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cI believe he believes it,\u201d Kimmel said. \u201cHe can\u2019t imagine anyone ever doing anything without getting paid for it.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Kimmel defended the protesters as \u201cconcerned Americans,\u201d then had a message for the president. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cIf they\u2019re paid agitators, by the way, prove it,\u201d Kimmel said. \u201cYou keep saying they\u2019re paid agitators? Prove it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kimmel said he could think of at least one person who fits the bill.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cYou know who is a paid agitator? You are!\u201d he fired back. \u201cYou literally sold a crypto coin that says \u2018fight, fight, fight\u2019 on it. You\u2019re a paid agitator surrounded by a bunch of greasy little paid agitator-tots.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
