LONDON<\/strong> \u2013 Spain winger Adama Traor\u00e9 switched London clubs on Wednesday by joining West Ham from Fulham \u2014 and said a movie about his new team taught him about the passion of its fans.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been seeing West Ham for a long time,” the 30-year-old Traor\u00e9 said. \u201cIt\u2019s a massive club, a massive fanbase. I\u2019ve been watching since I was young, when I watched a film about West Ham. I know about the fans and how much passion they have.\u201d<\/p>\n

Traor\u00e9 was likely talking about \u201cGreen Street,\u201d a fictional 2005 movie that explored the culture of hooliganism in English soccer through a fan group linked to West Ham. <\/p>\n

Green Street was the name of a road leading up to West Ham’s old stadium, Upton Park.<\/p>\n

The club now plays at the Olympic Stadium, where Traor\u00e9 will be united again with West Ham manager Nuno Esp\u00edrito Santo. They previously worked together at Wolverhampton.<\/p>\n

The powerful right winger came through Barcelona’s academy and has already played for four English teams \u2014 Aston Villa, Middlesbrough, Wolves and Fulham.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe will give us a different option in attacking areas,” Nuno said.<\/p>\n
